Below are the documents that support the proof of work experience for express entry 




if you are self-employed, a Reference letter is not sufficient instead you will need to provide documents such as


  • Articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership 
  • Proof of Self employed income 
  • Documentation from third parties confirming your services (including payment details) 


If you are an employee you have to provide a Reference letter and if you don't have a reference letter you can provide the following supporting documents as Proof of Work experience 


  • Employment contracts 
  • Promotion letters 
  • Pay stubs 
  • Pictures of you at work 
  • Sworn declarations from former colleagues.
